Divine light pours like rain on his mausoleum, which shines gloriously from afar. His tomb is an object of adoration for hundreds of thousands of devotees. It’s like Mount Sinai where Light is manifest. The sound of Hu emanates from his grave and the surroundings are shouting Hu and Hu. His dargah is a mysterious, sacred place that attracts seekers like moths. Every year millions of people gather at the shrine to celebrate the Urs of their beloved saint. He was without doubt the Sultan of Gnostics and an ocean of divine knowledge from which wayfarers still receive waves of light and spiritual blessings.
The mausoleum of Hadrat Sultan Bahu (RA) is located ina village named after him as Moza Sultan Bahu, near Garh Maharaja. His original gravesite came under the Chenab River, which changed its course and caused the gravesite to relocate twice. Hadrat Sultan Bahu (RA) also used to hold an annual Urs to commemorate the martyrs of Karbala from the 1st to the 10th day of Muharram. The tradition continues to this day and every year, hundreds of thousands of devotees visit the shrine during these first 10 days of Muharram as well.
